Mr. Joseph TUNG
Executive Director,
Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong

        Mr. Joseph Tung was recruited to join the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong as Executive Director in 1997 after working for Korean Air as Deputy General Manager in charge of passenger sales, reservation and ticketing since 1985. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the travel industry.

        He was Chairman of the OAA/TIC Compliance Committee from 1992 to 1997.

        He has also served on a number of trade committees such as : the Advisory Committee of Travel Agents (1997- ), the Management Board of the Travel Industry Compensation Fund (1997- ), the Immigration Department's Users Committee (1999- ), the Vocational Training Council's Hotel, Catering & Tourism Training Board (1998- ).
