Allen Ma Kam Sing, 47, was appointed to the Board in May 1999. He joined Cable & Wireless HKT in 1974, and became Executive Director, External Affairs and Strategic Alliance Development, in January 2000. He is responsible for regulatory affairs, corporate affairs, partnership/alliance management and property development of the Group. Prior to this he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Telecom IMS Limited in September 1998. Between 1996 and 1998 he was Managing Director, Mobile Services, of Hong Kong Telecom CSL Limited.
